ABOUT THE CREATOR

Justin Williams is an emerging screenwriter and dynamic filmmaker whose storytelling voice is shaped by a rich cultural upbringing between Atlanta, Georgia, and Kingston, Jamaica.

A graduate of the University of Georgia with both a B.A. and M.A. in Mass Media Arts, Justin’s career began behind the camera, working on documentaries and branded content that spotlight marginalized voices and vibrant subcultures.

From capturing Kingston’s street art scene with Manifesto Jamaica to producing content for Lime TV, Justin's early work was rooted in real-world storytelling. He went on to hone his craft at Live Nation Productions, rising to the position of Manager of Media and Content and contributing to acclaimed projects, including HBO's Love, Lizzo, and Imagine Dragons’ Believer. He has also worked with Disney’s marketing team, managing high-level media campaigns from a creative perspective.

Now based in Los Angeles, Justin is channeling his experiences into original screenwriting. His latest project, What You Can Do For Yourself? — a dark comedy thriller set in Kingston — is a deeply personal feature that blends sharp social commentary with bold cinematic vision.
